Diese Bilder sind in Skerries an der Ostküste von Ireland aufgenommen. Die Rosenseeschwalbe brütet in Europa in größeren Zahlen nur noch in Ireland. Die Kolonien liegen meist auf Felseninseln mit guter Deckung. Bild 2 zeigt die Insel Rockebill, wo in 2014 1200 Paare brüten. Von Mitte Mai bis August sind sie an den Küsten zu sehen. dann ziehen sie in den Golf von Guinea. -
The Island off Skerrries are one of their breeding grounds. Rockabill (Picture 2), the island with the lighthouse is one of the most important breeding colonies in Europe with 1200 breeding pairs in 2014.
